On May 25th, the SAG Foundation’s BookPALS (Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools)  and Broadway Serves! read  to a pre-k class at PS 111 in Manhattan. This special literacy event    enabled Broadway performers to join BookPALS and help spread the magic of reading in schools. Taking  time off the Broadway stage, Kimberly Marable (currently in Sister Act and co-founder of Broadway Serves!) and Jonny Wu (currently in Chinglish) brought the story of COUNTDOWN TO KINDERGARTEN by Allison McGhee to life.
