San Francisco BookPALS celebrate the holidays with service to some of the neediest children. With the generosity of books purchased by Green Apple Books customers, BookPALS sort and wrap more than two hundred fifty books. These wrapped books are distributed to shelters around San Francisco. The children at these shelters awake Christmas morning and unwrap a brand new book to call their own.

This event brings out the best of BookPALS. The volunteers graciously give their time in service to others while enjoying the company of their fellow performers. The event used seven rolls of wrapping paper, ten rolls of tape and resulted in a wrapped pile of books that would make Santa’s elves proud.
