BookPALS Reading on the Green

The SAG Foundation is truly grateful for a winning partnership with the good people at the Kraft Nabisco Championship. Not only have we been welcomed at the 40th anniversary of this prestigious event (March 28 – April 3, Rancho Mirage, CA) and benefited from ticket sales through Tickets FORE Charity, we have also been given tremendous support for our efforts in children’s literacy.

From Coachella Valley BookPALS events held in the preceding months to the hugely successful “BookPALS Reading on the Green” on March 29, our work with Kraft Nabisco has made a difference in sportsmanship, star power and support for young minds!

Over 1,100 students from nine Coachella Valley schools attended the March 29 BookPALS Reading on the Green at the Kraft Nabisco Championship, which featured four readers including Mary Hart, Cheech Marin, Ann Campbell (author of Justa Bear, which was among the books read), and golf professional Kristy McPherson, who also demonstrated golf shots!
