April 10, 2014

LOS ANGELES (April 10, 2014) — With his recent passing, the Screen Actors Guild Foundation honors the life and legacy of Mickey Rooney and recognizes the indelible mark he left by sharing its two-hour ‘Conversations with Mickey Rooney’ in its online video archive. Recorded in 2004, Rooney discusses his lengthy Hollywood career with actor Todd Amorde, including anecdotes on Walt Disney and Elizabeth Taylor with an appreciative audience of actors.

The SAG Foundation is in the process of digitizing its entire Conversations archive of more than 400 discussions with high profile actors to include Charlton Heston, Angela Lansbury, Kirk Douglas and more as part of its ongoing effort to preserve the legacy of acting and great actors.
