In this session, participants will develop the essential skills needed to create high-quality self-tapes for auditions. The course will cover the selection and use of appropriate equipment—including cameras, lighting, tripods, microphones, and backdrops—as well as guidance on setup, file labeling, slating, and submitting final audition materials. Additionally, the session will explore best practices for live virtual auditions, providing instruction on effectively using platforms such as Zoom, FaceTime, and Eco-Cast Live.
Please bring pencil or pen along with something to take notes.
Small Group Sessions are facilitated discussions with the goal of digging deeper into some of the information and advice shared within the panels. These sessions provide a time to break down concepts into practical action items by which an actor can individually apply to their professional pursuits. This session will last for 1.5 - 2 hours. Participants must stay for the whole time.

If you must use WiFi, please be on a personal network, not a public network such as Starbucks or the public library.
If you need to use video/audio during your session, you will need a computer with a webcam and/or microphone. If you do not have this, you can download the Zoom app on your smartphone.
