Computer Labs

Utilizing free or inexpensive software to teach and serve members

The SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s Computer Labs offer a variety of online classes and workshops. Computer Lab classes always utilize free or inexpensive software to minimize or negate financial barriers. Online classes serve 20-30 members per class, are approximately two hours and include a Q&A session following the class.

The Lambs® Computer Lab

The SAG-AFTRA Foundation has temporarily closed its in-person Computer Lab in New York City for a reimagining of the program and curriculum.

This is a temporary closure with the goal of reworking the scope of the program to include new and improved curriculum. The Foundation is currently piloting new classes online and will be introducing and road-testing new curriculum throughout 2024.

The Foundation looks forward to a full reopening of the Computer Lab in the near future, and updates will be provided to members when the relaunch occurs.

Virtual Computer Lab

The SAG-AFTRA Foundation Virtual Computer Classes accommodate 20-30 participants each, last about two hours, and conclude with a Q&A session.

Support This Program

Computer Lab classes are free for SAG-AFTRA members, and made possible through gifts, grants and sponsorships.
