Our Programs

The Business

The Business trains SAG-AFTRA members to think like entrepreneurs and artists. Through panels, members hear from creators and industry experts, gain planning strategies, and learn marketing and financial concepts to take charge of their careers. Panels are posted on our YouTube. Small Group Sessions are 60-person workshops that delve deeper into the panel information.

Casting Access

The Casting Access program offers insight into the casting process and gives members unique access to feedback from some of the top Casting Directors and Agents in our industry in 20-person classes. Members can attend after completing a Casting Access profile. Young Performers classes are also available for members under 18.

Computer Labs

The Lambs® Computer Lab of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation offers online classes and workshops using free or low-cost software to minimize financial barriers. Classes serve 20-30 members, last about two hours, and include a Q&A session.

Conversations

Conversations are interviews with working film and TV actors discussing their craft and projects, live before an audience of SAG-AFTRA members or pre-taped for YouTube. We also host Career Retrospectives and Journey of the Working Actor panels to explore performers’ careers and their paths to success.

On-Camera Labs

Our On-Camera Labs are free facilities in LA, NY, and online for SAG-AFTRA members to record auditions with a reader, and get technical advice and feedback. The Virtual Tech Help Desk, available to all members, assists with home setups, lighting, framing, and equipment recommendations for livestream callbacks.

Voiceover Programs

Our state-of-the-art Voiceover Labs in LA and NYC offer the quality of a commercial studio with the innovation of a classroom. Members can record demo reels, learn audio software, and train with top instructors in-person and online. Sign up for a monthly Voiceover Program Orientation today.
