The SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s Conversations Program gathers the wisdom of performers through interviews and panels related to specific projects or entire careers. Conversations aims to inspire and inform SAG-AFTRA members with tangible advice from some of the most prominent and preeminent performers in the industry. Conversations interviews and panels are recorded and available on the Foundation’s YouTube channel.

Screenings and Q&As

Throughout the year, the Foundation hosts live screenings featuring some of the best contemporary film and TV performances in its Los Angeles and New York screening rooms, followed by interviews with the cast members who delivered these performances.

Career Retrospectives

The Foundation’s Career Retrospectives delve into the struggles, successes, and intricacies of great performers’ careers. Whether they have long and illustrious filmographies or are stars riding a sustained period of success, the series explores the key choices and approaches that have allowed the subjects to pursue long and progressive careers.

Awards Season Panels

The Foundation gathers nominees for award-nominated performance categories and select non-performance categories for lively and compelling Conversations about career and craft during the SAG Awards and Emmy Awards nomination windows.

Journey of a Working Actor

Several times a year, the Foundation produces panels featuring individuals who make their careers as performers, engaging in a grassroots conversation about the life and career of a working actor. This series explores the familiar, quotidian issues that affect performers at all levels.

Conversations on Broadway

Conversations on Broadway celebrates the vibrant theater community in New York City and features actors with careers on both stage and screen. The series includes conversations with leading theater performers, casts, casting directors, directors, and producers. Conversations on Broadway is produced in partnership with BroadwayWorld and hosted by Richard Ridge.
