LA, NY and Virtual

Main Booth

An actor with one of our audio engineers/booth directors in the booth who offers coaching and direction.

Solo Booth

An actor by themselves in the booth. A staff member will not be present with you for the session, but help is available to help get set-up if necessary, and an instructional video is available to view.

Virtual Booth

An actor is at home and connects with one of our audio engineers/booth directors virtually through Source-Connect (free version) or Source-Connect Standard (paid version). The audio engineer/booth director records, coaches and directs the session.

Due to significant demand, we have a strict Frequency Restriction, Cancellation and No-show Policy. All of our policies are designed to ensure that as many performers can participate in our classes as possible.

Voiceover Programs

We offer hundreds of hours of specialized programs every year in every facet of voiceover work, allowing beginners to gain a grounding in the field, and experienced practitioners to hone their craft and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies.

Our expert guest instructors offer workshops, classes and discussion panels on the business, the craft and the evolving technical aspects of becoming a successful voiceover artist.

Our in-house staff of seasoned voiceover experts host multiple regular virtual workout groups and meet-ups designed to help members explore their craft, get feedback on their work, expand their business and technical know-how, and connect and network with other voiceover artists within the Foundation community.

Our Voiceover Labs and Programs are free for SAG-AFTRA members and made possible through gifts, grants and sponsorships. The Foundation never draws on SAG-AFTRA dues or initiation fees.

The DLF Voiceover Lab is named in memory of legendary voice actor Don LaFontaine and cultivates a thriving community of voice actors who embody his generous spirit of mentorship and giving back. The SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s Don LaFontaine Voiceover Lab is a fitting tribute to this legendary artist and man that many of today’s top voiceover actors considered both their mentor and friend.
