Voiceover Program Policies and Rules

Accessibility Accommodation

For those who have accessibility requirements, including ASL interpretation, please email rsvp@sagaftra.foundation with a minimum of three (3) business days notice and you will be contacted.

Under 18 Policy

Members under 18 years old are required to have their parent or guardian present during the recording session or class, unless the class is specifically for members under 18.

Eligibility

To be eligible for Voiceover Programs, you must be a paid-up, full-membership, active status SAG-AFTRA member. If you are showing as ineligible, please contact SAG-AFTRA to inquire why that is. Please allow 24 hours for any changes to your status to reflect on our website.

Performers Programs Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made by 11:59pm on the day before the session.

Cancellations can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone.

Cancellations cannot be made the day-of the class or session.

Voiceover Programs No-Show Policy

Failure to fulfill an RSVP’d reservation or arrival after check-in is completed will be recorded as a no-show.

After 3 no-shows within any 60 day period, you may not participate in any Voiceover Programs or reserve booth sessions for 90 days.

Solo Booth Frequency Restriction

Each solo booth session is 50 minutes.

2 sessions can be reserved per day and a total of 2 per week.

Main Booth Frequency Restriction

Each main booth session is 50 minutes.

1 session can be reserved per week.

Virtual Booth Frequency Restriction

Each virtual session is 50 minutes.

1 session can be reserved per week.

Notification List

If space is unavailable on any calendar date, or if none of the available times work for their schedule, members can click the ‘Notify Me’ button, to be added to a list that will be notified whenever space opens up on that date. Everyone on the notification list for a date will receive an email whenever a slot is cancelled and will have an opportunity to book the newly-opened slot.

A spot on the notification list counts towards that member’s frequency restriction until 11:59pm PT on the day before the appointment. Therefore, if the frequency restriction for a calendar is 2 appointments per week, a member can make one appointment and be on one notification list, or two appointments, or two notification lists.

Waitlist

Joining the waitlist means you will be notified when space opens up due to attendees dropping out of a full class. If you are on the waitlist, we assume you are available and interested in attending the class.

If space opens up, we will send you an email to confirm that you have been moved to the RSVP list. If you are unable to attend a class, please remove your name from the waitlist.

Other Rules

You must be able to show your valid SAG-AFTRA ID card (or your receipt of current payment) for admittance. No admittance will be granted without your current card or receipt.

Audio and video recording of Voiceover Programs is strictly prohibited. Anyone found to be in violation of this rule may be banned from attending future Voiceover Programs.

Please do not sign up for a class if you will need to leave before the program ends.

The SAG-AFTRA Foundation reserves the right to refuse admission or service to anyone.

Voiceover Programs are for educational purposes only.
