This summer, the Screen Actors Guild Foundation is delighted to offer LifeRaft events to Guild members across the nation at no charge, via live video stream on the internet!
LifeRaft provides innovative, implementable knowledge to actors by way of panel discussions with seasoned industry professionals, exploring a myriad of exciting “business of acting” topics, such as The Real Deal on Actor Reels, An Evening with Agents and Casting Directors, Marketing Yourself and Knowing your Types.
Our first two LifeRaft Live Stream events, Overcoming Career Sabotage and Journey of the Working Actor garnered terrific response andhighlights of each are now viewable on our website. Just click here, then scroll down the page to see the event highlights.
Our next two Live Stream events take place as follows:
Plan Z: Steps to Surviving the Current Economy – Tuesday, July 21st, 2009, 6-7pm (Pacific)
An Evening with Casting Directors – Tuesday, July 28th, 2009, 6-8 pm (Pacific)
· To participate in these programs, simply visit the SAG Foundation LifeRaft Live Video Stream Gallery at www.sagfoundation.org/node/416 and enter show password “liferaft07” at the scheduled show times.
· You can also submit your questions to panelists and moderators during the events by emailing LifeRaft@Sagfoundation.org.
· Please let us know what you think after each event by taking a 30 second survey. The longevity of this pilot program relies on Guild member feedback!
