Twelve BookPALS seussed-it up honor of Read Across America and to kick-off the initiative with the Rise Up Foundation and SAG Foundation – #ReadToMe. This campaign celebrates the benefits of the read-aloud to advance children’s literacy. The early reviews from the children are in and BookPALS were a unanimous success – kids love if when someone takes the time to #ReadToMe.
BookPALS read to children in classrooms, libraries, shelters and other community organizations across the San Francisco Bay Area. The volunteers bring a love of stories and spark the imagination of children. For the students at Rooftop Elementary, the children wrote and illustrated how much they enjoyed the readings.
