The SAG Foundation is offering emergency assistance to SAG-AFTRA members affected by the terrible floods in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. “The SAG Foundation hopes all local SAG-AFTRA members are safe and their homes intact,” the nonprofit wrote on its website. “However, for SAG-AFTRA members and families who have been affected by the severe flooding, the SAG Foundation offers an emergency assistance fund to help in this time of need.”

To qualify for assistance, applicants must be active SAG-AFTRA members with total earnings of at least $15,000 during the past five years, or, for members older than 55, 10 years of active membership and $2,000 in earnings for each of those years.

Members who have been impacted by flooding in the region can apply for assistance at dlloyd@sagfoundation.org or by calling (323) 549-6773.
