LOS ANGELES (December 5, 2022) – Acclaimed actor and Broadway star Sutton Foster is the newest reader for the SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s children’s literacy program Storyline Online®. Just in time for the holiday season, Foster shares her vocal talents and infectious enthusiasm by reading Memoirs of an Elf, an entertaining Christmas tale with a modern twist, written by Devin Scillian, illustrated by Tim Bowers, and published by Sleeping Bear Press.

Memoirs of an Elf takes place on Christmas Eve, and has all the elements of a Christmas classic with some fun contemporary upgrades that reflect the technology kids use these days. In particular, Spark Elf who takes “elfies” and programs the GPS, while the other elves secure the toy bag, in order to help keep Santa and his reindeer on schedule. But just when the jolly crew returns home and thinks their work is done, they find something left in the bag, which isn’t a present at all…it’s a dog!
